About this Cellar

We also have our vineyards on our “Brookvale” property. The two varieties planted

to date are Shiraz and Grenache. The rich loamy soil creekside soil is ideally suited

to both varieties.

All of vines are dry grown, hand-pruned and hand picked. No pesticides or insecticides

are used in the vineyard.

The results of this can be seen in our wines, with 2006 Eyre Creek “the Brookvale”

Shiraz being critically acclaimed. Winestate Magazine has awarded that wine

41/2 stars.

Our Riesling is sourced from the famous Attunga Vineyard which is just a little further North of Auburn. This vineyard is also dry-grown and produces very high quality

grapes. Our 2008 Eyre Creek Riesling, exclusively from this vineyard, is an exceptional example of fine Clare Valley Riesling.

GLEN’S GOURMET

Available at the Eyre Creek Cellar Door is an extensive range of jams, chutneys, relishes and sauces. All are hand –made by Glen’s Gourmet.

We also provide light lunches(platters, cheese plates) and coffee all day at the Cellar

Door.

Glen’s Gourmet is also available for contract catering for groups and functions by appointment.
